CCTV camera installation in Chandkheda and nearby
We visit first, plan camera positions around your entrances and night lighting, then install, set up phone viewing and test playback before we leave.
Surya Computers installs CCTV cameras for homes, shops, offices, housing societies, factories and schools in Chandkheda, Tragad, the Nirma University area, Motera, Jagatpur, Gota and Zundal. Every job starts with a site visit, because a camera kit bought online rarely matches the way a building actually needs covering.
Where we install
What we check on the site visit
- Entry pointsEvery door, gate and staircase someone can come in through. These get cameras first.
- Light at nightA gate that looks fine at noon can be pitch dark at 11 pm. We note where you need cameras with stronger night vision or colour night view.
- Cable routeHow cable can run without breaking tiles: through existing conduit, along ceiling edges, or in surface casing.
- Recorder and powerWhere the DVR/NVR sits safely, whether there's a UPS, and whether your Wi-Fi reaches it for phone viewing.
- Recording daysHow many days of footage you want, which decides the hard disk size.
After the visit you get a written quote with two brand options at different price levels, so you can compare.
Camera types we fit
| Type | Best for | Read more |
|---|---|---|
| HD analog + DVR | Homes, shops on a budget | DVR & NVR |
| IP cameras + NVR | Offices, societies, factories needing sharper footage | IP cameras |
| Wi-Fi cameras | One or two cameras, rented flats, no cabling | Wi-Fi cameras |
After installation
Before we leave, the viewing app is running on your phone, playback of the last hour works, and the recording schedule is set. If a camera goes blank, the DVR stops recording, or you can't log in to the app later, we handle CCTV repair and AMC too, including systems installed by someone else.
Common questions
How many CCTV cameras do I need?
Count your entry points first: main door, gate, parking, back door, and any stairs. Most flats need 2 cameras, bungalows and small shops 4, and offices, showrooms and society gates 8 or more. We confirm after a site visit.
HD analog, IP or Wi-Fi cameras: which should I choose?
HD analog with a DVR is the budget choice and works well for homes and shops. IP cameras with an NVR give sharper images and suit offices and larger sites. Wi-Fi cameras suit one or two cameras in a rented flat where cabling isn't allowed.
How many days of recording will I get?
It depends on camera count, resolution and hard disk size. As a rough guide, four 2 MP cameras on a 1 TB disk give around two weeks of continuous recording. Motion-only recording stretches that further.
Will the cameras work during a power cut?
Only if the DVR/NVR, cameras and router are on a UPS or inverter. We'll suggest the right UPS size during the site visit.
Can I see the cameras on my phone?
Yes. We install the brand's viewing app on your phone, and on family members' phones if you want, and test live view and playback before leaving.
Is CCTV legal in a rented flat?
Cameras covering your own door and inside your flat are generally fine. Pointing a camera into a neighbour's flat or a common area usually needs the society's or landlord's agreement. Check with your society before installation.
Something not working? Call before you come.
We can often tell over the phone whether it's a quick fix or a day's job.
