New and refurbished laptops
For college, office or home. Tell us your budget and what you'll use it for, and we'll send you what's in stock today, new and refurbished, with honest advice on which fits.
Surya Computers sells new and refurbished laptops at our shop behind Nirma University, Tragad. We don't list prices online because stock changes weekly. Send your budget on WhatsApp for today's options.
New laptops
Sealed-box laptops from the major brands, with full brand warranty and a GST invoice. [CONFIRM: list the brands you usually stock new, e.g. HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer] We set them up before handover: Windows updates done, bloatware removed, Office signed in with your account if you have one, and your data moved from the old laptop if you want.
Refurbished laptops
A tested business-grade laptop often gives more for the money than a new budget one. Machines like the Lenovo ThinkPad, Dell Latitude and HP EliteBook were built for office use, with sturdier hinges and keyboards than entry-level consumer models. With an SSD and 8 GB or more RAM, they handle college work, coding, Office and Tally comfortably.
What we tell every refurbished buyer before they pay:
- The battery's actual health percentage, not just "good".
- Any cosmetic marks on the lid or palm rest.
- Whether the model has a known weak point, and what it costs if it ever needs fixing.
Which one should you buy?
| Use | What to look for |
|---|---|
| College, Office, browsing | SSD (not hard disk), 8 GB RAM, i5 / Ryzen 5 or good refurbished business model |
| Coding, engineering software | 16 GB RAM, SSD, a good keyboard; GPU only if your course asks for it |
| Tally, billing, office | 8 GB RAM, SSD, full-size keyboard with number pad helps |
| Design, video editing | 16 GB+ RAM, dedicated graphics, colour-accurate IPS screen |
| Gaming | Dedicated GPU, good cooling, 144 Hz screen |
