Repairs, CCTV, buying and print
Do you charge for checking my laptop?
Checking is free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide not to, a small inspection charge applies. We tell you the fault and the price before any part is replaced.
How long does a laptop repair take?
Software jobs, keyboard and battery swaps are often done the same day if the part is in stock. Screens usually take one to two days. Motherboard repairs take two to five working days depending on the fault.
Will I lose my data during repair?
Screen, keyboard, battery and charging port jobs don't touch your files. Before a Windows reinstall or board work, we copy your data to a safe drive if the disk is readable.
My laptop is not turning on at all. Is it the motherboard?
Not always. A dead adapter, a shorted battery or a loose DC jack can look exactly the same. We test those first because they're cheaper to fix.
Is it worth repairing an old laptop?
If the laptop is more than six years old and the repair costs more than about half the price of a good refurbished one, replacing it usually makes more sense. We give you both numbers.
How many CCTV cameras does a house need?
Most flats manage with two cameras, one at the door and one in the hall. A bungalow usually needs four to cover the gate, parking, back side and entrance. We confirm the count after a site visit.
How many days of recording will I get?
It depends on the number of cameras, their resolution and the hard disk size. As a rough guide, four 2 MP cameras on a 1 TB disk give around two weeks of continuous recording.
Can I watch my cameras on my phone?
Yes. We install the viewing app on your phone, and on a family member's phone if you want, and test live view and playback before leaving.
Is a refurbished laptop a good choice for college?
For coding, MS Office and browsing, a refurbished business laptop with an SSD usually works well and costs much less than new. We point out any model with a known weak hinge or battery before you buy.
Do you show laptop prices online?
No. Stock and rates change every week. Tell us your budget and use on WhatsApp, and we send what's available that day.
Can I get xerox and spiral binding done while I wait?
Small xerox, printout and lamination jobs are done on the spot. Large project files with spiral binding may take a few hours, depending on page count.
Which areas do you cover for pickup and onsite visits?
Chandkheda, Tragad, the Nirma University area, Motera, Jagatpur, Gota and Zundal. From other parts of Ahmedabad, you're welcome to bring the device to the shop.
Do you give GST bills?
Yes, for hardware, CCTV, networking work, AMC and stationery supply.
Do you install pirated software?
No. We install genuine Windows, Office and Tally with your licence, or help you buy one.
