Repair prices: rough charges before you visit
Starting rates for the jobs we do most often. The exact price depends on your model and the part grade, and we confirm it after checking.
These are approximate starting rates at our shop in Tragad, near Nirma University. Use them to plan. We always confirm the final price before any work starts.
What changes the price: the exact model, original vs compatible part, touch vs non-touch screens, and whether the fault has damaged anything else on the board.

Is it worth repairing?
A rough rule we use at the counter: if the repair costs more than about half of what a decent refurbished laptop would cost, and your laptop is more than six years old, think about replacing it. We'll give you both numbers so you can decide.
Common questions
Why can't you give an exact price over the phone?
Two laptops with the same name can use different screens or boards. Once we see the model number and check the fault, we give you a fixed price before starting.
Is checking free?
Checking is free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide not to, a small inspection charge of [CONFIRM: inspection charge] applies.
Do prices include the part?
Yes. Where a part is needed, the rates on this page include the part and fitting, unless the row says otherwise, as with SSD upgrades.
Why is an original screen so much costlier than a compatible one?
Original panels come through brand channels in smaller numbers, so they cost more. A good compatible panel has the same size, resolution and connector and is fine for most laptops that are a few years old.
