The silent failure to check today
The most common CCTV problem isn't a dead camera. It's a recorder that stopped saving footage weeks ago while live view kept working, so nobody noticed. Open your app now, go to playback, and pick a time from yesterday. If nothing plays, the disk has failed or filled up. Call us before you need that footage.

Common questions
One camera shows 'no video'. Is the camera dead?
Often it isn't. A loose connector, a water-soaked joint, or a failed power adapter causes most single-camera 'no video' faults. We test the cable and power before suggesting a new camera.
All cameras went off together. What happened?
When everything goes off at once, the common power supply or the recorder is usually the cause, not the cameras. A shared CCTV power supply often fails in the summer heat.
Cameras look fine by day but blank at night.
The infrared lights have failed, or a spider web or dust on the lens is reflecting the IR back. Cleaning fixes the second. The first needs a camera repair or replacement.
What does a CCTV AMC include?
Quarterly visits to clean cameras, check every camera's day and night picture, check recording and disk health, and test mobile view, plus priority breakdown visits. Parts are billed separately unless agreed otherwise.
