Plan it before the interiors are done
The cheapest time to cable an office is before the false ceiling, panelling and paint go in. If you're setting up a new office, call us when the interior work starts, not after. Laying conduit at that stage saves surface casing later, and the same runs can carry IP camera cables.
Already have messy cabling?
We tidy existing racks: trace and label unknown cables, replace loose crimps, and move a jumble of switches into a proper rack. It often fixes "random disconnection" problems too, because a loose or badly crimped cable is a common cause.
Common questions
Cat5e or Cat6?
Cat6 for anything new. The price difference is small and it handles gigabit speeds comfortably over full office runs, with headroom for the future.
Can cables be run without breaking walls?
Usually yes: through existing conduit, above false ceilings, or in surface casing along walls. In new offices it's best to lay conduit before plastering.
How long can a single LAN cable be?
Up to 100 metres from the switch to the device. Beyond that we add a switch in between or use fibre.
