Most CCTV jobs at Surya Computers fall into one of four sizes. This page explains what's in each, so you know what you're comparing. For the current price, send us your place type and a few photos on WhatsApp.
2-camera setup: flats
- 1 outdoor or corridor camera for the main door, 1 indoor dome for the hall
- 4-channel DVR with a 500 GB–1 TB disk, or Wi-Fi cameras with SD cards
- Cabling in surface casing, power supply, phone viewing on 2 phones
4-camera setup: bungalows, small shops
- 2–3 outdoor bullet cameras (gate, parking, back side) and 1–2 indoor domes
- 4-channel DVR (or 8-channel to add later), 1 TB surveillance disk, about two weeks of recording
- Cable runs up to an agreed length, power supply, phone viewing
8-camera setup: offices, showrooms, society gates
- Mix of outdoor and indoor cameras, often IP for sharper footage
- 8-channel DVR/NVR, 2 TB disk, PoE switch for IP systems
- UPS for recorder and cameras, separate logins for owner and staff
16 cameras and more: societies, factories, schools
- IP cameras with NVR and PoE switches, planned per block or area
- 4 TB or more of storage, sized to 15–30 days
- Itemised quote for committee or management approval, optional AMC
Comparing quotes from different installers
Two quotes for "4 cameras" can be very different systems. Ask every installer for:

Common questions
Why don't you list package prices?
Camera and hard disk prices change often, and the cable length, poles and UPS differ for every site. We give an exact, itemised quote after a short site visit or from photos on WhatsApp.
Can I start with 4 cameras and add more later?
Yes. Choose an 8-channel recorder at the start, and adding cameras later is just cable and cameras, with no new recorder needed.
Is installation included in the package?
Our quotes include installation, cabling up to an agreed length, recorder setup and phone viewing. Extra cable, poles or conduit are listed separately.
