Before you hand over a MacBook
- Back up with Time Machine if the Mac still works.
- Know your Apple ID password. After some repairs or a reinstall, the Mac asks for it, and we can't bypass Activation Lock.
- Bring the charger and cable, especially for charging faults.

My MacBook is under AppleCare. Should I come to you?
No. Use Apple's authorised service while you're covered, because third-party repair can affect the warranty. We work on MacBooks that are out of warranty.
Do you use genuine Apple parts?

Can you upgrade the SSD or RAM on my MacBook?
On older Intel MacBooks, some models allow an SSD upgrade. On M1, M2 and later, and many recent Intel models, RAM and storage are soldered to the board and can't be upgraded.
