What's wrong with your laptop?
- Screen cracked, lines or blackPanel replacement, or a display cable fix if the panel is fine.

Charging port and adapter problems
If you have to hold the pin at an angle to make the charging light come on, the DC jack is loose or its solder has cracked. It's the most common fault we see on HP and Lenovo budget models, and it gets worse every time the cable is pulled sideways. Fixing it early costs around ₹800 – ₹1,800. Left too long, it can short and damage the board.
Before you blame the laptop, try another adapter if you can. A good share of "not charging" laptops that come in have a perfectly healthy laptop and a dead adapter. We sell replacement chargers for most models.
Broken hinges and body
Hinge damage usually starts small: a crack at the screen corner, or the lid feeling stiff when you open it. The plastic around the hinge mount gives way first, then the mount pulls out of the casing. We rebuild the mount, replace the hinge, or swap the back panel, depending on how far it has gone. Approx ₹800 – ₹2,500.
Tip from the bench: open the lid from the middle of the top edge, not from one corner. Corner-opening is what breaks most HP and ASUS hinges we see.
Overheating and loud fan
A laptop that gets hot under the keyboard, shuts down during video calls, or runs its fan flat out all the time usually has a dust-packed heatsink and dried thermal paste. We open it, clean the fan and fins, and re-apply paste. The laptop runs cooler and quieter afterwards, and the fan stops screaming during Zoom calls. Approx ₹600 – ₹1,000.
Water and tea spills
Switch it off, unplug it, take the battery out if you can, and don't try to dry it with a hair dryer or switch it on to check. Bring it in the same day. Liquid causes corrosion on the board within hours, and the sooner we clean it, the cheaper the fix usually is. Spill damage often ends up as a keyboard replacement plus board cleaning or repair.
RAM and SSD upgrades
An older laptop with a mechanical hard disk takes two to three minutes to boot and feels sluggish all day. Moving to an SSD changes that more than anything else. We clone your drive so nothing needs reinstalling. Adding RAM helps if you keep many browser tabs or run Tally and Excel together. Labour approx ₹500 plus the part. See RAM and SSD prices.

Common questions
Which laptop brands do you repair?
HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, MSI, Samsung, Avita, Infinix and Apple MacBooks. Business models like Dell Latitude, HP EliteBook and Lenovo ThinkPad are common at our bench too.
Will my laptop's brand warranty be affected?
If your laptop is still under brand warranty, take it to the brand's service centre first, because opening it elsewhere can void the warranty. Once the warranty is over, we can take it.
Can you repair a laptop the same day?
Keyboard swaps, battery changes, DC jack repairs and software work are often done the same day when the part is in stock. Screens take a day or two to source if we don't have your size.
What's the most common laptop fault you see?
Loose or broken charging ports, followed by hard disk failures in older laptops and cracked screens. Many hinge breaks also start as a small crack near the screen corner that people ignore.
Do you replace hard disks with SSDs?
Yes, and it's the single biggest speed-up for an older laptop. We clone your existing drive to the SSD so Windows, files and apps stay as they were.
