CCTV for shops and offices
Cameras that show the cash counter clearly, the entrance at face height, and the stock room. Plus phone viewing so you can check the shop from home.
Surya Computers installs CCTV for shops, showrooms, clinics, coaching classes and offices in Chandkheda, Tragad, Motera, Jagatpur, Gota, Zundal and around Nirma University.
Where shop cameras earn their keep
- Cash counterAngled from above and behind the cashier, so notes and the drawer are visible, not just the top of a head.
- Entrance at face heightThe one camera you'll actually use to identify someone. Fixed at about 7 feet, not at the ceiling.
- Stock room or godownMovement at odd hours is what you want to know about.
- Outside the shutterNight-time coverage of the front, for break-in attempts.
Offices are different
In offices the concern is usually the entrance, reception, the server or file room, and the parking. Workstation cameras are rarely needed and can upset staff. We plan coverage that protects the office without watching people type.
If your office is moving or setting up, we can do the CCTV together with the network cabling, which saves a second round of drilling and lets IP cameras share the same switch.
For owners with more than one branch
Each branch keeps its own recorder, so footage is safe if the internet drops. All branches are added to one app on your phone. With IP systems, your main office PC can show every branch on one screen.
Insurance and police reports usually ask for footage of a specific time. Make sure you or one staff member knows how to export a clip to a pen drive. We show you at handover.
Common questions
Can I watch several shops from one phone?
Yes. Each recorder is added to the same viewing app, and you switch between branches. With IP systems, cameras from different sites can also be viewed on one screen at your main office.
Do I need audio recording in the shop?
Audio can help settle counter disputes, but recording conversations raises privacy concerns. Many owners prefer to put a visible notice up if they record audio. We can fit cameras with or without a mic.
Should staff be told about the cameras?
Yes. A visible 'CCTV in operation' notice and a word to staff is good practice and usually deters problems on its own.
Something not working? Call before you come.
We can often tell over the phone whether it's a quick fix or a day's job.
