What we avoid
A common shortcut is opening remote desktop or the Tally port straight to the internet so a branch can connect. It works, and it's also how many small businesses get hit by ransomware. We use a proper VPN on business routers, so only your sites and approved users can reach the office network.

Common questions
Do we need a leased line?
For most small businesses, no. Two ordinary broadband connections with a VPN between them are enough for Tally, billing and file access. A leased line makes sense for heavy, always-on traffic.
What if the internet goes down at one site?
A second internet connection from a different provider, with a router that switches automatically, keeps you working. Many shops use a broadband line plus a 4G/5G backup.
Can staff work from home securely?
Yes, with a remote-access VPN that only authorised users can connect to, instead of leaving remote desktop open to the internet.
