For offices
One infected PC on a shared network can spread to shared folders. If an office PC is infected, unplug it from the network and call us. A business firewall and regular backups limit the damage next time.

Is Windows Defender enough?
For most home users who keep Windows updated and avoid cracked software, Microsoft Defender gives reasonable protection. Offices handling customer data may want a paid business antivirus with central management.
My files have a strange extension and won't open.
That's likely ransomware. Disconnect the PC from Wi-Fi and the network right away, don't pay, and don't plug in backup drives. Bring it in so we can check what can be recovered.
How did I get the virus?
Most often from 'free' software or movie download sites, cracked programs, fake browser updates, and email attachments. We'll tell you what we found so you know what to avoid.
